New England Legal Foundation Appoints Nutter, McClennen & Fish Partner Eric Magnuson to its Massachusetts Advisory Council

BOSTON – The New England Legal Foundation (NELF – www.newenglandlegal.org), the leading legal advocate for free enterprise in the region, has appointed Eric Magnuson, a partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP, to its Massachusetts Advisory Council.

Magnuson co-chairs Nutter’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Blending roughly 25 years of experience in state and federal courts with a rigorous commitment to client service, he advocates on behalf of businesses and individuals across a broad array of industries. A diverse range of clients, including banks, insurers, companies, trustees, and corporate officers, have relied on Magnuson as their trusted legal advisor.

NELF Advisory Councils help develop the Foundation’s positions on public policy matters and often recommend legal advocacy for consideration by NELF’s Board of Directors on issues of importance to the region’s economy. The Advisory Councils also host speakers of interest to their particular sector of the economy at locations convenient to members in each state.

NELF President Dan Winslow congratulated Magnuson on his appointment and noted, “Our Advisory Councils are the eyes, ears and heart of our organization. We rely on their guidance and suggestions to advance our mission of economic liberty and inclusive growth. We are thankful to have Eric’s leadership in the coming years.”
