BOSTON – Sally Baraka, Chief Administrative Officer of Agile Growth Corp (NASDAQ: AGGR), a newly formed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), has been appointed to the New Hampshire Advisory Council of the New England Legal Foundation (NELF, www.newenglandlegal.org), the leading non-profit public interest law firm in the region dedicated to addressing policy and constitutional concerns related to free enterprise.
Ms. Baraka is a global C-level advisor for private equity-backed and public software companies with expertise in international technology transactions, data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, and IP (intellectual property) monetization strategies. Prior to joining Agile Growth Corp. in 2021, Ms. Baraka was General Counsel and Board Secretary at Alfresco Software in 2020. She served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Paycor from 2018 to 2019, Vice President and General Counsel at Sparta Systems from 2013 to 2018, and Senior Commercial Counsel at Box, Inc. (NYSE: BOX) from 2012 to 2013.
A Muslim and Egyptian-American, Ms. Baraka is a former Commissioner on the City of Philadelphia Human Rights Commission. “Sally’s professional leadership experience, her proud heritage, as well as her expertise in a variety of roles across the software industry,” NELF President Dan Winslow said, “bring important new dimensions and an increased measure of in-house strategic focus to our already impressive New Hampshire Advisory Council roster.”
